Success in life and in business all comes down to just three things. You have to master all three of these to uncover your true potential. If you ignore one of these, it will hold back everything else you do.

I developed a framework called the Three Pillars of Success Mastery. It breaks out these three areas you have to master in order to accomplish your goals.

Note that I said “MASTER”, not just “get better at”. The ultimate goal has to be to master each area. The most successful people are just better at mastering each of these than the rest of us. They aren’t lucky or possess some ability that we don’t have. They developed by working on these 3 Pillars of Success Mastery for their entire lives.

Isn’t it time that you took action to start catching up?

The first Pillar of Success Mastery is that you have to Master Yourself.

It all starts with you. Nothing is possible from Pillars 1 & 2 until you get mastery over yourself. You have to be able to get yourself to take consistent action and do the right thing … even when it is hard … even when you don’t feel like it. Until you start taking action, nothing changes. If you want to lose weight, it is not going to happen until you can get yourself to stop eating so much. Knowing how to do something and getting yourself to do it are two very different things.

The second Pillar of Success Mastery is that you have to Master the Strategy and Fundamentals.

If you don’t have a good plan for accomplishing your goal, then no amount of action is going to get you there. In the niche of making money online, I see this everyday. Most people are simply following the wrong strategy. They are trying to sell to strangers. Unless I can get them to change strategy to a plan of building an audience first and selling later, then there is no way I can help them. They are simply going about it the wrong way.

The third Pillar of Success Mastery is that you have to Master Key Skills.

You can get yourself to focus your energy and you can have a great plan, but if you don’t have the skills to execute the plan, then it won’t work.

Let’s say that you want to build a following of people on YouTube and make money through ad revenue and recommending products. To do that, you have to get very good at creating high quality videos that people find entertaining, informative, and motivational. You also have to learn about how to create compelling thumbnails, the science of naming your video, and how to fine tune key words so that YouTube ranks your videos. Those are all “learned skills” that anyone can learn. However, if you don’t focus on getting those Key Skills, then you will never make it.

The level of success that you have experienced to this point is directly related to how well you are mastering each of the Three Pillars of Success Mastery. One or more of these areas are holding you back. The only way to get past that roadblock is to identity where your bottleneck is and attack it.

The good news is that all three of these areas ARE things that you can control. You can learn how to Master Yourself and do the right thing. You can learn a good strategy and the core fundamentals you need to build your income online. From that strategy, you can identify the key skills that you need and learn them. Everything is figure-out-able.
